Thought I’d share this map here too (you can check out the whole progression of this design on my Instagram). For those who may not recognize this, it’s the continent of Tal’Dorei. Or, the main setting for the first campaign of Critical Role. One of the best D&D shows out there.
It was a fun experimental process coming up with this map and I’m pretty happy with how it came out. I wanted something fairly textural that looked like a mixture of drawn, made of clay, and embossed. The whole thing was done in Photoshop.
